A music video I made for Montreal death metal band Mechanical Manipulation.
The request from the band was to capture a garage-like, rehearsal mood of their song Dead Meat, they wanted to depict what the band is like when they're practicing together. So we did it the most actual-life way possible: show up with cameras right in their studio, and record the sound live, just as blown out from the speakers. This was a challenge for sound technician Jean-Francois Mayer, but the final result is quite an interesting piece. We filmed that within 3 hours, and mixed / edited in two days, for an aggressive production timeframe of one week...!
